The Micronutrient Forum is a convener of academics, policy makers, and program implementers. The 2014 Micronutrient Forum meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, brought together 1,000 participants from 65 countries with a common interest in micronutrients. This report captures event discussions, global challenges, architecture, and solutions.

The event took a bio-medical view as well as a programmatic one. As such, the report is wide ranging and cross cutting, including: evidence and recommendations for scaling micronutrient interventions, determining impact, integrating micronutrients into agricultural programmes, developing costed country plans, raising political commitment, evaluating new biomarkers, or indicators, and a comprehensive update on the global distribution of micronutrient deficiency.
