FAO: Key facts on food loss you should know

For a compilation of statistics and infographics on global food loss and waste look no further! The United Nations Food and Agriculture have put together the data. The findings are not easy to digest: industrialized and developing countries waste roughly the same quantities of food - respectively 670 and 630 million tonnes. Interestingly, there is a graph that shows per capita food losses and waste at consumption and pre-consumption stages.
