This review maps the research landscape on climate change’s impact on food systems, nutrition, and health through an Evidence and Gap Map (EGM). It synthesizes 844 studies, highlighting how climate change affects agricultural production, food security, and nutrition-related health outcomes.

Key gaps identified include the need for more research on postharvest food systems, climate impacts on nutrition-related health, and equitable mitigation strategies. The study calls for interdisciplinary approaches to address climate change’s cascading risks to human and planetary health.
