This briefing by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) gives an overview of The Save Food Initiative, launched in 2011. It has four pillars: collaboration and coordination between all sectors, awareness raising, research, and projects. Essentially, the Save Food Initiative develops regional programmes and supports national implementation.
