Enablers and barriers to improving worksite canteen nutrition in Pudong, China: A mixed-methods formative research study

China has undergone rapid change in recent years which has impacted on the health of its workforce. This article concludes that more than half of the worksite nutrition interventions evaluated show significant improvements in eating behaviours. The results are valuable for both private and public sectors, illustrating the need to balance employee taste preferences with beliefs about what ‘eating well’ means.
