Climate Change and Land: an IPCC special report on climate change, desertification, land degradation, sustainable land management, food security, and greenhouse gas fluxes in terrestrial ecosystems

This special report from the IPCC highlights the impact of land use and agricultural practices on climate change. The authors call for integrated policy change and action across the food system - from production to consumption. They argue this could help support shifts in dietary patterns, reduction of food loss and waste, responsible land use management and improved food security. To make the necessary changes this report calls for will require strong policy frameworks, legislation and accountability mechanisms that enable businesses to produce, process and sell our food in a more responsible, sustainable way.
