This Blue Food collection in Nature is the result of a collaboration between The Blue Food Assessment and the Nature journals. It is a series of articles that explore the importance of aquatic foods as part of healthy, equitable and sustainable food systems, as well as the challenges that need to be tackled if these contributions are to be realized. The resources contained in this collection - including research, commentary and opinion pieces - have important implications for policymakers, researchers, businesses, fishers and consumers.
