2017

Honest and provocative report by the Civil Society Reflection Group on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Chapter 2 looks at corporate investing in small scale sustainable agriculture and agroecology in light of SDG2 – it sets out two systems: food as a commodity and food as a right, and gives the context behind each. The section on the political economy of SGD2 implementation is a wake-up call for the right kind of action. Chapter 12 focuses on business and human rights with respect to sustainable consumption and production, and shows how the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative can be used as a framework for natural resource governance.
