This report highlights the need for new metrics to monitor food system transformation in Ethiopia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Kenya. Stakeholder workshops revealed gaps in indicators related to capacity building, food processing, and women and youth engagement in food governance. The study, part of GAIN's Nourishing Food Pathways (NFP) program, aims to develop tailored indicators to improve accountability and decision-making in food systems.
