This study explores stakeholder engagement in circular food systems in five Brazilian municipalities. It assesses how local policies, business models, and community-driven initiatives contribute to reducing food waste, promoting resource efficiency, and enhancing food security. The findings suggest that while circular economy principles offer promising solutions, their adoption is hindered by policy fragmentation, lack of investment, and cultural barriers. The study recommends multi-stakeholder collaboration, financial incentives, and regulatory support to scale up circular food initiatives.
