This review examines how health economic models are used globally to evaluate salt and alcohol consumption policies. Most studies focused on salt reduction or alcohol consumption individually, with minimal integration of both. Common models included comparative risk assessments and multistate lifetables. The study calls for combined models to better inform cost-effective public health interventions targeting these risk factors.
