This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Positive Deviance/Hearth (PD/Hearth) intervention, a community-based nutrition program implemented by an international NGO and a university in Indonesia. Using realist evaluation, the study identifies five Context-Mechanism-Outcome (CMO) configurations, emphasizing the need for stakeholder involvement, clear expectations, and localized practices. Findings highlight the importance of adapting global health interventions to local contexts for sustainable outcomes.
