This scoping review evaluates policies, data, and interventions aimed at reducing child stunting in Afghanistan. The study identifies gaps in multisectoral approaches to nutrition, noting that while policy efforts exist, their implementation is inconsistent across communities.

The findings highlight limited longitudinal nutrition surveys, fragmented nutrition-specific interventions, and the need for integrated approaches that combine food security, health, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programs. The review calls for stronger policy frameworks and evidence-based interventions to address malnutrition more effectively.
