This study assesses iodine concentrations in tap water, mineral water, and coffee in various Norwegian regions, finding generally low levels except in one mineral water brand with significantly higher iodine content. The study suggests that while tap water and coffee contribute little to overall iodine intake, certain mineral water brands may significantly impact iodine levels. Adding milk or plant-based milk to coffee increases its iodine content.
