This study examines the impact of scenario-based learning and augmented reality on nursing students' awareness and attitudes toward climate change and sustainability. Recognizing the importance of integrating sustainable healthcare principles into medical education, the study introduces undergraduate nursing students to climate change concepts within healthcare through scenario-based sessions over three years.

Results indicate a significant increase in students' environmental awareness and positive attitudes toward sustainability. After initial clinical training, students showed strong awareness of unsustainable practices in healthcare but encountered challenges in applying sustainability principles in clinical settings. Most students found that the learning scenarios effectively linked climate change with healthcare resource use and health outcomes. The findings suggest that while scenario-based learning and augmented reality can enhance climate awareness, further effort is needed to support practical applications of sustainability in nursing practice.
