This cross-sectional study investigates dietary diversity and anaemia prevalence among school-going adolescents in Uganda’s Acholi sub-region. Anaemia prevalence was 16%, with low dietary diversity observed. Girls consumed more iron-rich foods than boys, and parental education and menstruation were significant predictors of anaemia. Recommendations include health and nutrition education and agricultural initiatives to combat iron deficiency.
