This study introduces the Penn Healthy Diet (PHD) screener, a user-friendly tool for assessing diet quality in clinical settings. Based on NHANES data, the screener correlates strongly with Healthy Eating Index (HEI)-2015 scores and provides a simple scoring system to evaluate dietary patterns. With a median completion time of four minutes, the screener offers a practical approach to nutrition counseling.
