This cross-sectional study identifies inadequate consumption of vitamin A-rich foods among lactating mothers in Ethiopia, with 88.5% of participants affected. Low dietary diversity, household food insecurity, high family size, and limited antenatal care visits were significant contributing factors. Recommendations include nutritional counseling, family planning, and food security interventions to enhance maternal health and child nutrition.
