This study examines the adoption of milk safety practices among smallholder dairy farmers in Ethiopia. Farmers adopted 59% of recommended practices, with significant variations based on location, education, and access to resources. Factors like dairy training, access to credit, and regular veterinary inspections positively influenced adoption. Barriers included limited infrastructure and cultural preferences for raw milk. The study emphasizes location-specific interventions and regulatory enhancements to improve milk safety compliance.
