Undernutrition and Its Associated Factors Among Adult Second-Line Antiretroviral Treatment Users in Northern Ethiopia

This study assesses the prevalence and factors contributing to undernutrition among adults on second-line antiretroviral therapy (SLART) in Northern Ethiopia. Results show that 38.52% of participants were undernourished, with prior undernutrition significantly predicting continued malnutrition. The findings stress the need for integrated nutritional support and early intervention in HIV care programs.
