This study provides a comprehensive risk analysis on food safety hazards in the production and distribution of seed sprouts, such as alfalfa and mungbean sprouts. The analysis, conducted by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), identifies pathogens like Salmonella and STEC as primary risks.
