This systematic review evaluates government policies aimed at promoting sustainable crop production in Botswana amidst climate change challenges. Despite efforts, crop production has declined due to adverse climatic conditions and inefficient policy implementation. Recommendations include adopting climate-smart agriculture, improving water resource management, policy reforms, and engaging local stakeholders. The review highlights the need for continuous evaluation of programs and adaptive strategies to ensure food security and sustainable farming practices.
