This review discusses sustainable management practices to restore degraded grazing lands in Mediterranean Less Favoured Areas (LFAs). A multidisciplinary approach involving local plant and animal resources, agroecological practices, and advanced technologies like GIS and drone mapping was proposed. Interventions aim to improve land productivity, soil health, and biodiversity while engaging stakeholders to adopt regenerative grazing practices. Recommendations include policy adjustments to support the regeneration of LFAs and enhance long-term agricultural resilience.
