This qualitative study investigates Norwegian food system actors’ views on the updated Nutri-Score algorithm, a front-of-pack nutrition label. While Nutri-Score is intended to simplify nutrition information for consumers, concerns were raised over its penalty on salt and fat, its classification inconsistencies, and its potential to encourage food processing. The study contributes to understanding Nutri-Score's effectiveness and alignment with Norwegian dietary guidelines, providing valuable insights for future food policy discussions.
