This process evaluation assesses the effectiveness of the Food Game, a gamified intervention aimed at promoting adherence to the Mediterranean diet and pro-environmental behaviors among Italian high school students. While the program succeeded in increasing student engagement and positive attitudes, it did not lead to significant dietary changes. The study suggests enhancing the program’s duration and integrating community factors to foster long-term impact.
