This study investigates malnutrition among school-aged children in Northern Sri Lanka, a region recovering from war. It reports high prevalence rates of wasting (30.6% boys, 29.1% girls), stunting (10.9% boys, 11.8% girls), and obesity (6.3%). The research highlights strong correlations between malnutrition and socio-economic factors, particularly maternal education and household income. The findings underscore the need for targeted nutrition interventions in post-conflict regions.
