Summary: This study examines the relationship between maternal nutritional knowledge, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices, and the nutritional outcomes of children aged 6–59 months in Cumilla, Bangladesh. Surveying 386 mother-child pairs, the study found high rates of stunting (38.6%) and overweight (7.8%), alongside moderate nutritional knowledge among mothers. Key results indicated a positive association between nutritional knowledge and child growth, suggesting that enhancing maternal education and WASH practices could reduce malnutrition.
