This analytical review examines nutrition trends across four income groups in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR): low-income, lower-middle-income, upper-middle-income, and high-income countries. The study finds that while stunting and wasting rates have declined, overweight and obesity levels have risen across all groups except low-income nations.

Findings highlight that micronutrient deficiencies, anemia, and low breastfeeding rates remain major challenges. The report calls for stronger policy interventions to tackle the double burden of malnutrition and ensure sustainable nutrition programs.
