This study explores minimum tillage (MT) as a climate-smart agricultural practice, particularly in Ghana. MT is a component of conservation agriculture that reduces soil disturbance to planting stations while maintaining soil integrity. The research examines the impact of MT adoption on maize yields, food security, nutrition, and labor demand.

Findings suggest that long-term MT adoption increases maize yields by 4.33%, improves dietary diversity by 14.22%, and decreases food insecurity and labor demand by 42.31% and 11.09%, respectively. The study emphasizes the importance of promoting long-term MT adoption for sustainable agricultural productivity and farmer welfare.
