This study examines the awareness and practices related to lead pollution among caregivers of children and adolescents living near informal Used Lead Acid Battery (ULAB) recycling sites in Bangladesh. Findings reveal low awareness of lead hazards and widespread exposure through activities like playing near contaminated sites. Recommendations include targeted interventions to increase lead awareness and reduce exposure in high-risk communities.
