Impact of Essential Oils and Probiotics on Nile Tilapia Performance

This research evaluates the effects of probiotics (Klu-zetar®) and essential oils (ACTIVO®) on Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Results show dietary supplementation improved growth rates, antioxidant capacity, intestinal health, and resistance to Aeromonas veronii infections. The study supports probiotics and essential oils as effective, sustainable alternatives to antibiotics in aquaculture management, enhancing fish health and productivity.
