This study evaluates the effectiveness of a short food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) for measuring food intake among Norwegian children. Comparing the FFQ against a four-day precoded food diary, results show moderate correlations, particularly for commonly consumed items like fruits and vegetables. Findings suggest the FFQ's utility for identifying high and low consumers, though it may overestimate intake frequencies compared to the food diary, indicating its limitations for precise dietary assessments.
