This FAO study shows that traditional household-level food security measures often overlook individual nutritional vulnerabilities—especially among women and children—and that integrating dietary diversity indicators (MDD-W and MDD-C) into resilience frameworks provides a more accurate and nuanced assessment of nutrition resilience in fragile contexts.
