This systematic review evaluates the impact of food policies on the nutrition and health of Indigenous Peoples across Canada, Australia, Aotearoa/New Zealand, and the USA. The most effective interventions combine policies targeting food price, composition, and availability with educational strategies, particularly in retail and school environments.

The study highlights the need for policies improving food access, affordability, and retail environments. However, it finds limited research on universal food policies and calls for further studies to assess their impact on Indigenous communities.
