This study investigates how supplementing broiler chicken diets with a diatomite-bentonite mixture (DBM) affects their gut microbiota. Results showed that DBM significantly altered the intestinal microbiome, introducing beneficial bacterial species associated with gut health. These findings suggest that DBM supplementation could improve poultry health and productivity by enhancing gut microbial diversity.
