This comment piece highlights important areas progress against goals set out in the Malabo Declaration, which provides the direction for Africa’s agriculture transformation for the period 2015–2025, within the Framework of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP). To help build resilient food systems in Africa, this brief encourages an increased focus on fostering policies for enabling climate action; scaling up digital solutions and developing innovative financing instruments.
