This study analyzes the seasonal changes in the nutritional composition of four fish species from the Ludhiana market, focusing on protein, lipid, carbohydrate, ash, and moisture levels across different seasons. Results indicate that moisture and fat contents vary inversely, and the protein content is highest in the pre-monsoon season, while moisture peaks during the monsoon. This research underscores the nutritional diversity and seasonal impact on fish sold in Punjab's fish markets, highlighting its relevance for consumers and food quality standards.
