This study explores the relationship between maladaptive eating behaviors (e.g., food restriction, orthorexia nervosa) and rumination in 400 Lebanese adults. Findings reveal that rumination significantly correlates with higher tendencies for restrictive and disordered eating patterns, particularly in individuals with higher BMI and physical activity levels. The study emphasizes the psychological and physical predictors of eating behaviors, offering insights for tailored interventions within the Lebanese population.
