This study assesses nutrition and hygiene knowledge among rural women in Assam, India. Of 270 participants, many lacked knowledge about basic nutrition, hygiene practices, and common health indicators like Protein Energy Malnutrition (PEM) symptoms. Few women understood the necessity of rinsing utensils with hot water, though most recognized the benefits of breastfeeding. The findings highlight the need for targeted educational programs to improve health awareness and practices among rural communities.
