This study explores gaps in medical training related to diagnosing and managing eating disorders in diverse populations. Surveys of 92 resident physicians revealed low confidence in treating racial, ethnic, sexual, and gender minoritized patients. Cultural biases and limited knowledge of diverse clinical presentations were highlighted as barriers to effective care. The study emphasizes the need for improved education to address disparities and promote equity in eating disorder outcomes.
