This study demonstrates that gallic acid (GA), a natural antioxidant, reduces muscle injury caused by excessive exercise. GA alleviates oxidative stress and ferroptosis by stabilizing mitochondrial function and decreasing iron accumulation. These findings suggest GA as a potential therapeutic agent for managing exercise-induced muscle damage.
