This study shows that farmworker communities use diverse strategies—such as gardening, foraging, and food sharing—to maintain nutrition despite limited access to food. While foraged and perennial foods significantly boost micronutrient intake, these practices are not fully captured by standard diet quality measures, highlighting the need for more culturally responsive nutrition assessments.
