This qualitative study investigates physicians' experiences with workplace nutrition and its impact on their wellness and performance. In interviews with 20 physicians, respondents reported emotional, physical, and cognitive effects from inadequate nutrition, including fatigue, irritability, and diminished focus. A nutrition-based intervention with scheduled breaks and readily accessible healthy food options led to increased awareness and intent to improve eating habits. The study highlights practical and professional barriers to nutrition, emphasizing the need for organizational support to enhance workplace nutrition for health providers.
