Summary: This study analyzes the dietary patterns and food purchasing habits of 500 farm women in Dharwad, Karnataka. The results indicate high consumption of rice and cereals but low intake of protein, fruits, and vegetables, leading to inadequate nutrient intake compared to Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA). The findings suggest that farm women in this region may benefit from nutritional interventions to improve dietary variety and nutrient intake.
