QU Dongyu is the Director General for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation. Under new leadership the organisation is shifting to a more agile and flat structure to respond to challenges with increased delegated authority and cohesiveness. Integral to the reform is a new SDG Office, under the supervision of the Director General. Empathically, he spoke about moving from “leading a think tank to guiding an action tank.”  The reform could not come at a more pressing time and provides better than ever opportunities to support and facilitate public private engagement and boost knowledge generation for improved nutrition.
