This review examines the impact of the Ukraine-Russia conflict on food security in North Africa. The conflict has disrupted wheat and fertilizer supplies, increasing prices and exacerbating food insecurity, especially in import-dependent countries like Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia. While oil-rich Algeria mitigated effects through revenue gains, low-income countries face severe challenges. The study underscores the need for global cooperation and resilient food systems to address cascading effects on food security in vulnerable regions.
