This study investigates the clinical application, institutional governance, and management barriers associated with Foods for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) in medical institutions across Jiangsu Province, China. The research aims to evaluate the current state of FSMP implementation in hospitals, identify systemic governance problems, and propose policy reforms to improve standardized clinical nutrition management in China.
