This study evaluates the nutritional and bioactive properties of the loengo fruit, native to Africa. The findings reveal high antioxidant activity, significant levels of phenolic compounds, and essential nutrients such as potassium, calcium, and phosphorus. The fruit’s pulp is rich in glucose and fructose, while the peel contains beneficial organic acids like citric and ascorbic acids. Loengo seeds exhibit the highest antioxidant activity.
