This study explores how individuals' time orientation, specifically their consideration of future consequences (CFC), influences organic food consumption. Utilizing data from the NutriNet-Santé cohort involving 27,634 French adults, findings reveal a positive association between future-oriented perspectives and higher organic food consumption, with the strongest correlations in starchy foods, fruits, and vegetables. The study suggests that future-oriented individuals, with greater focus on long-term health and environmental impacts, are more inclined towards organic food choices.
