This study examines food losses in cucumber, zucchini, and table grape supply chains in the West Bank, identifying key loss points and proposing solutions. It estimates that approximately 11% of total food loss occurs during post-harvest handling and storage, and another 11% during distribution. The report highlights deficiencies in post-harvest techniques, infrastructure, and market access as primary causes. It recommends interventions such as cold storage, better packaging, and improved coordination between farmers and markets to reduce food waste and improve supply chain efficiency.
